LAMDA has a long history of championing access and opportunity for global talent, and we are proud to be part of the ‘2Day Film Challenge’ in collaboration with the London Film School and RD Studios. This festival creates a space for emerging creatives from across the world to share stories that may not otherwise have the opportunity to be seen or celebrated, while fostering collaboration between actors, writers, directors, and filmmakers from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. We are looking forward to bringing together diverse voices and perspectives through a creative process that reflects a shared commitment to inclusion, artistic innovation, and expanding pathways into the film industry for the next generation of talent.

When I started my career I remember there being so many great film making competitions I could take part in. Not only did it give me a chance to find my own narrative voice, it had the dual benefit of allowing me to experiment creatively and most importantly of all meet new collaborators. For some reason many of those competitions seem to have gone away, and I wanted to do our bit to help bring back some of those opportunities and of course have a chance for RD Studios to potentially find some future film-makers we can work with as well.
