GALA & SCREENING EVENT
LAMDA’s Sainsbury Theatre / London
The final gala will take place at LAMDA’s Sainsbury Theatre in London, a state of the art performance and screening venue located near Barons Court with capacity for up to 220 guests.
Selected finalist films will be screened at a live gala event attended by filmmakers, judges and industry guests from across the film and television industry.
Equipped with industry leading screening and production facilities, the Sainsbury Theatre provides the perfect setting to showcase the very best films created during the challenge. The evening will culminate in a live winner announcement and prize presentation celebrating emerging filmmaking talent from across the world.
Finalists will have the opportunity to see their work screened on the big screen, connect with fellow filmmakers, meet industry professionals and celebrate alongside the wider creative community.
Designed as more than just a competition finale, the gala night is a celebration of creativity, collaboration and the incredible films that can be made in just 48 hours.
More Than A Competition
Beyond the prizes themselves, the 2Day Film Challenge is designed to create visibility for emerging filmmakers and connect new creative voices with established industry professionals.
Through the support of LAMDA, London Film School and RD Studios, finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their work within a professional industry environment and gain recognition from leading creatives working across film and television.
